Florida’s economy is sort of a good news-bad news type of scenario. While Florida is slowly getting back to work, and has seen its unemployment rate drop significantly over the past couple of years, it still lags the national unemployment figure. However, Florida’s improving unemployment figure  means that for thousands, their unemployment benefits will  not be extended because of new Federal laws pertaining to states with falling joblessness.

One thing that is all good news is that Assurance Wireless is one of the companies working with the Lifeline program in the state of Florida Eligible residents may be eligible to get a cell phone and 250 minutes monthly, absolutely free.
