How to Qualify for Assurance Wireless in Idaho

You may qualify for Assurance Wireless service in Idaho under income-based eligibility criteria or government program-based eligibility criteria as long as no one else in your household currently has a Lifeline phone.

Government Program-Based Eligibility Guidelines

If you are a participant in one or more of the following government assistance programs, you probably qualify for Assurance Wireless phone service in Idaho:

  • Medicaid
  • Food Stamps
  • The National School Lunch Program’s Free Lunch Program
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance (Section 8 )
  • Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
  • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)

If you qualify for Assurance Wireless service under government program-based eligibility guidelines, you are NOW required to send in any supporting documentation at this time. If you qualify under the government program-based eligibility, you do not need to complete the income-based section.
